Perspectives on Apple from the Atari Side

Three Atari Podcasters: Kevin Savetz, Wade Ripkowski and Rob McMullen invite you to hear how Apple and Atari founders briefly crossed paths, and learn the similarities and differences between the Apple ][ series and Atari 8-bit computers. A summary of the differences in hardware architecture, memory map and graphics will be covered, as well some design decisions that rendered the Atari as less expandable than the Apple ][. A brief examination of the (many) marketing and management failures that relegated the Atari to well below Apple ][ sales will also be discussed.
