Veronica – a 6502 pilgrimage

Presented by Quinn Dunki. A couple of years ago, Quinn set out to duplicate Steve Wozniak’s efforts to build his own computer from scratch. With no formal training in electrical engineering, she set off to do just that. Veronica is the result — a functional 6502-based computer with VGA display, Nintendo gamepads, ROM monitor, and the associated toolchains. This session will be a walkthrough of the machine, what worked, what didn’t, and what was learned from the experience.
